Combined Subjects (Higher secondary classes)
Ex. 12 A (1st Group - Math's the same period (Math's Group)
12 B (2nd Group - Biology the same period (Pure science Group)
12 C (3rd Group - Computer science (Arts Group)
For Example Mr. X is taking Math's for 12 A
Mrs.Y is taking Biology for 12 B
Mr. Z is taking Computer for 12 C
For such case enter the Work allotment details for all the three teachers and using the following options combined with one another.
Options Time Table / B - Combined subjects Entry
Combined Classes ( One Teacher in two or more classes )
E.g. 10 A Math's period is combined with 10 B
9 A Tamil period is combined with 9 B & 9 C
For Example Teacher Mr. X is taking Tamil classes for all the 3 divisions of 9th standard together. In such case user can enter the work Allotment details for any one class and using the following option, user can combined other classes with the work allotment entered class.
Options Time Table / C - combined Classes Entry
Combined Teachers ( 2 Teachers in same class)
Second Language periods (Tamil / Hindi)
Extra Curricular Activity Periods (Arts / Craft) Both Teachers shares a class in single period.
For co-ed School for their Arts / Crafts periods is shared by two teachers, One Male Teacher for boys / Female Teacher for girls.
Enter the Work Allotment Details for any one of the teachers and using the following option user can combine other teacher with the teacher whose work allotment is entered.
Options Time Table / D - Combined Teachers Entry
Uniform Period allotments for all the classes or some specific classes.
Ex. Mass Drill, Prayer Periods
For example Wednesday 8th period is Mass Drill for all the classes. In such condition create a teacher named Mass Drill (no specific teacher is allotted here) and create a subject Mass Drill (because Gift-School requires a subject for any allotment).
Enter the work allotment for the teacher in any of the class and using the combined class option combined all other classes with the same.
After the combined class allotment use the following option, allot any one class for
Wednesday - 8th period - Mass drill subject. Gift-School automatically allots the same period for other classes.
Options Timetable / F - Conditional Periods Entry
Uniform Class teachers period allotments.
E.g. Class teachers should be allotted in 1st or 2nd periods.
Class teachers should be allotted uniformly in the classes for attendance work.
Options Time Table / E - Class Teachers Entry
Using this option user can mark the class teacher for each class and the subject taking for the class. At the time of running the Auto Generation-I, you can specify the period for class teachers. Based on the period entry Gift-School will allot the class teachers period.
Conditional Period allotment for Games.
P.T should not be allotted in 4th and 5th periods.
In the timetable framing work Games period (P.T) allotment is an important one because we can not allot the periods for P.T before lunch hours or very next period after the lunch even the first and the last period also. Such types of condition Gift-School will solve easily.
Options: At the time of running the Auto Generation - I user can specify the periods, which are not allotted for P.T. Periods.
Conditional Period allotments for Principal / Vice Principal Periods
E.g. He / She should be free in 1st and 5th periods.
In most of the school Principal / Vice Principal taking classes for few periods. So at the time of timetable framing we should allot the periods, which are not disturbing them for their administrative or school works.
Options: At the time of running the Auto Generation - I you can specify the periods which are not allotted for Principal / Vice Principal.
Fixed Period allotment details.
Ex. Practical period for Higher Secondary Classes Fixed based on Availability of the lab
Some schools fixed their practical period for Higher Secondary classes and Computer labs for other classes due to non-availability of the lab etc.
Such schools framed the timetable for these conditions, we should enter such condition periods manually, based on this allotment, Gift-School will frame the timetable for other classes.
Such cases user can enter / allot the periods manually and mark it as fixed.

I want to check the total working hours per week details for the teachers.
Some schools framed the timetable based on the working hours per week schedule for each teacher. Gift-School will help you to check such conditions in an easiest way. At the time of initial settings entry user can enter the time duration detail for each and every period. These details will be printed in the timetable copy of each teacher.

Is the free periods equally distributed / allotted in both the sessions.
Yes, based on the availability of the free periods, it will distribute equally for the working days as well as both the sessions. So that the teacher will get at least one free period in each sessions.
Can I get the Leisure Period timetable for all the teachers?
Yes, You can get the whole week time leisure period timetable for all the teachers.

Does it take care of extra period / duplicate periods allotments.
Yes, Gift-School takes care of such conditions. It should not allot any extra or duplicate period.

How do I restore the saved set of Time Table?

Yes, you can get the whole week time for teachers and the free periods timetable in seniority order.

How do I reset / erase the complete details or partial details for new one?
Is it protected by Password? Yes.
The user can erase any details based on the needs using the following points. All these options are protected by password. Before doing this process confirm with your superior.

D - Complete periods with work allotment
Option A - Used to erase all the periods which are automatically framed by the software with any conditions like combined periods, P.T periods, class teacher periods etc.,
Option B - Used to erase all the periods, which are automatically framed by the software with the all condition periods.
Option C - Used to erase all the allotted period details.
Option D - Used to erase all the allotted details with complete work allotments.
Note: Options A, B & C will not affect the work allotments.
Option D will erase your work allotment also.
Suppose a teacher resigns or joins how do I alter the timetable.
A teacher resigns user can easily delete / remove the complete details using the following options.
Options: Master / B - Teachers
Note: The new teacher is with the same qualification with the same period of allotments user can just alter the existing teacher information without deleting, will get the timetable.
Once the master details are deleted the complete information will be removed.
The new teacher is differs from the old teacher, we should enter the complete detail and follow all the steps for framing a new timetable. (Teacher master entry, work allotment details, condition periods, auto generation I etc.)

Part time Teachers Period Entries.
E.g. A part time teacher is taking classes for Yoga / Dance
Some school they are appointing the part time teachers for the subjects like Dance, Yoga, Karate, French etc. These types of problems based on their working time only we can allot the periods for such subjects. So such periods are pre defined or fixed.
User can enter / allot such periods manually and mark it as fixed.

After this two entry Gift-School will frame the timetable without disturbing such marked periods.
Two different sets of Work Allotments
E.g. Std 1 to 5 - 7 periods per Day, Std 6 to 12 - 8 periods per Day. In some schools they have two different sets of Work Allotment for various reasons, so they can frame the timetable based on such Work Allotments.
The solution for the above case is first the user enter the complete details (teachers, work allotment, class teacher mark etc) for lower classes std 1 to 5 and then frame the table as per the regular steps. Once finished timetable user can mark the details as fixed.

After marking the details enter the details for other classes (Std 6 to 12) then follow the regular steps.
